FALL IN THE ADIRONDACK's September is often the best month in the Adirondacks. Things quiet down, the days are warm and sunny, the nights crisp, and the mountains couldn't be more beautiful.  Things cool down a little more in October, but the colors are even more stunning.     Did You Know? The Adirondack Park is home to over 50 species of animals, 220 birds, 30 reptiles and amphibians, and 66 species of fish.  Bald eagles, peregrine falcons, ospreys and moose have made comebacks in the Park.
